In this suite of work, the concept is to use fragments of the body to create a set of patterns by mirroring one image into four different sections, creating a set of four rectangles. This series encourages the viewer to not look at these photographs as body parts, but instead as patterns created by the structure of the body.
The focus in this series is to show the skin texture, bone structures, and movement that the body can create. I want to allow the viewers to look at these photographs and to question on what they are seeing. Whether it is the pattern itself that attracted their attention, or the structure and pose of the body. This series will show the delicacy and beauty of the body in another perspective.
